Lemon with mint on Radio Shendi – Masarat – ✍️ Mahfouz Abdeen
The reader of this title might think that this is some sort of cold, frozen drink that Radio Shendi offers its guests, although Radio Shendi's level of generosity and hospitality precedes her live vocals during his report.
Lemon with mint is a pleasant and tasty drink that many people prefer because it quenches the heat in the air and the heat in the stomach, and it has health benefits that increase the immunity of the human body and protection against many diseases due to its health benefits.
However, the Shindi Locality Ministry of Health has expressed its dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction with the (mint lemon) and sees it differently from the people, but from a different perspective.
It was at this point that the Shendi Radio platform room was filled with (light) laughter and (wide) smiles as she welcomed a number of journalists and media personalities to her platform weekly, where the director of Shendi Water, consulting engineer Al-Waleed Mahjoub and the director of the Department of Health and Population of the locality of Shendi, Samia Othman, was on her platform when she responded to the director of health to his criticisms that health (awareness) is absent in the large and small markets of Shendi. the Ministry of Health (Fondu) in front of the loud voices of sellers of lemon-mint drinks, in the Shindi markets.
The light laughter and broad smiles of the journalists present in the Shendi radio room, following this response, were an expression of the state of conditions experienced by local markets since the start of the war. because they were filled with sellers, merchants and multi-purpose and specialized stores, and the stores multiplied there, with an increase approaching 100%. This is in addition to the squares, sidewalks and side entrances which were filled with small, young sellers for whom I created Small local businesses that sell cold drinks, in which the “mint lemon” became the “master” of all these stores that have spread across the markets.
Although Shindi Health Director Samia Othman's response was accompanied by a form of (humor), the truth of her response was much (bitterness) and (acidity) than lemon mint had before being treated with sugar, ice and sour water.
Because Shindi markets host thousands of expatriates who entered the market in search of livelihood and means of subsistence without waiting for international and national humanitarian organizations to “give” or “deny” them.
The locality of Shendi had no better choice than this, except to open the remaining stores and places to specialize them to accommodate this huge amount of stores that came to Shendi, knowing that the first result of this work are tons of waste produced by this commercial diversity. congestion that did not… Shindi Markets (breathing) even if it is with an oxygen tube.
Even if people agree that (safety) is everyone's responsibility, it is more important that (health) is everyone's responsibility, because loss of (safety) and loss of (health) are both dangers which threaten humanity wherever it is found.
Although the health director spoke of a “beautiful” drink, what is “more beautiful” is that Shindi Health Director Samia Othman has not yet raised the “white flag”.
