Among all these symbols, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, appeared as a new symbol added to these symbols, and not to those figures in which Omdurman appeared like stars in his sky, such as 'Ismail Al-Azhari, Abdullah Khalil, Al-Fateh Qaribullah, Ahmed Sharafi, Ali Qaqrin, Ismail Khorshid and Ibrahim Awad and Abu Al-Araki Al-Bakhit, Omdurman Scientific Institute, Omdurman Sports House, the parents, the grandchildren, and we cannot count them if we follow the characters, the monuments, the buildings and the meanings. But Omdurman will remain Omdurman with what she has gathered and what she has guaranteed.
But Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta tried and worked hard to find a foothold among these symbols and monuments, both ancient and modern, to become part of them, after they passed under his mother-in-law and under his responsibility, and he succeeded. in this and it became an additional group for these symbols.
Since the outbreak of war, we have learned that the armed forces had divided Khartoum into three sectors: Khartoum, then taken over by Lieutenant General Abdel Mahmoud Hammad, training officer at the general staff, Bahri and East Nile, which were entrusted to Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, and Omdurman, which is the largest in terms of area and population, was taken over by Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta. In fact, a person has a share in his name, so (Yasser) was the owner of the name who endured various kinds of torments in the early days of Islam, but he, his son Ammar and Sumaya bint Al-Khayyat adhered to their Islam, and the good news came to them (Patience, family of Yasser, for your promise is Paradise), and giving means giving and giving, because it is the effort of the soul, of time and of efforts for Sudan, that is enough.
