Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta…and the symbolism of Omdurman – Paths – ✍️ Mahfouz Abdeen

The people of Omdurman are always proud to be the national capital which brought together the Sudanese people in their revival, mixed their values, customs and traditions in their bowels, brought together the two rivals, Al-Hilal and Al- Merreikh, and brought together, those who were originally united in sound and image, radio and television, and the father of the arts, remained in him a visible mole and a distinctive mark, which is the National Theater. He placed part of his history not far from there. and time, in one place, and combined the Mahdi Dome and the Caliph House Museum in a political and national indication that Sudan is one homeland.

Among all these symbols, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, appeared as a new symbol added to these symbols, and not to those figures in which Omdurman appeared like stars in his sky, such as 'Ismail Al-Azhari, Abdullah Khalil, Al-Fateh Qaribullah, Ahmed Sharafi, Ali Qaqrin, Ismail Khorshid and Ibrahim Awad and Abu Al-Araki Al-Bakhit, Omdurman Scientific Institute, Omdurman Sports House, the parents, the grandchildren, and we cannot count them if we follow the characters, the monuments, the buildings and the meanings. But Omdurman will remain Omdurman with what she has gathered and what she has guaranteed.

But Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta tried and worked hard to find a foothold among these symbols and monuments, both ancient and modern, to become part of them, after they passed under his mother-in-law and under his responsibility, and he succeeded. in this and it became an additional group for these symbols.

Since the outbreak of war, we have learned that the armed forces had divided Khartoum into three sectors: Khartoum, then taken over by Lieutenant General Abdel Mahmoud Hammad, training officer at the general staff, Bahri and East Nile, which were entrusted to Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, and Omdurman, which is the largest in terms of area and population, was taken over by Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta. Since that day, we have not heard from Abdul Mahmoud, and Jaber went there. Port Sudan to discuss the issues of organizations and the United Nations on the Red Sea coast.

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta remained the first cornerstone of Omdurman (combat) and expanded the security zone, and with him the services moved south, such as transportation, markets, stations- service, banks, etc., and life prospered little by little, and The State of Khartoum began to exercise its work, its powers and its authority under his efforts and close to him, even if the State of Khartoum was under the leadership of its leader (the magician) Ahmed Othman Hamza, who was able to manage the state with competence and know-how. This talented player who can “dribble” with the ball in a “cut”. It was Ahmed Othman Hamza, who always appreciates the efforts of others for what they have provided and gives the battle of dignity. The best recognition goes to the martyrs. . The battle for dignity in the symbolism of Muhammad Siddiq, and he presented him with a plaque expressing the redemption and sacrifice of his soul for the good of the homeland. At the same time, he appreciated the role (of the media) and what. they did it by defending the homeland and supporting the armed forces in the person of Khaled Al-Aasar, and a plaque was hung for him, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta awaits the end of the battle for dignity . Let the State of Khartoum present a model or. educational, health or charitable institutions bearing his name in homage to him and the armed forces.

In fact, a person has a share in his name, so (Yasser) was the owner of the name who endured various kinds of torments in the early days of Islam, but he, his son Ammar and Sumaya bint Al-Khayyat adhered to their Islam, and the good news came to them (Patience, family of Yasser, for your promise is Paradise), and giving means giving and giving, because it is the effort of the soul, of time and of efforts for Sudan, that is enough.
