Literal and agricultural education … and the first line of defense on the security of Sudan and its rebirth

In the context of crises in Sudan, national security remains a concept that goes beyond the protection of borders and social peace, to include the capacity to produce what we need with our hands, to reduce dependence abroad and to strengthen the national economy of pressure and extortion. Here, literal and agricultural education is highlighted as one of the pillars of national security and real Renaissance tools.

Global experiences have proven that the countries that have invested in technical and artisanal know-how and have built an elaborate generation for industries and professions, have been able to increase economically and provide self-sufficiency, and even compete in global markets. As for us, we have neglected technical schools and handicrafts for decades, we have lost national skills and we have opened the door largely to the stressful import of the economy.

It is no less important than these agricultural schools that release, because it is the first line of defense of food security and ensuring the stability of society in the face of crises. Sudan has a huge agricultural fortune, but the absence of applied agricultural training deprived us of its effectiveness.

In addition, the creation of veterinary schools can constitute a qualitative change in the support of livestock, which is one of the largest exports in Sudan. These schools will bring out qualified managers in the fields of animal health care, epidemics, improvement of breeds and the management of animal farms, which increases the quality of production and improves the competitiveness of Sudan on the world markets.

The development of craft, agricultural and veterinary education is a national project for national security, based on:

Skilled teachers in technical, agricultural and veterinary specializations and send them training in developed countries.

Update the programs and link them directly to the agricultural, industrial and animal reconstruction and development plans.

Reloning technical, agricultural and veterinary schools of each state and linking them to major productive projects and in the private sector.

Integration of technology in agriculture, veterinarian and crafts, from intelligent agriculture to digital veterinary diagnosis.

If we want Sudan to stand on its feet, we must restore literal, agricultural and veterinary education at the heart of our national strategy, because it is the first line of defense for our economic sovereignty and the real pillar of independence.
