Malik Aqar praises the role of the media in raising awareness among local and international public opinion
Vice Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Aqar Air, met today with Acting Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdelkader, to discuss plans and programs implemented by the ministry to enlighten public opinion on events and developments in Sudan. The Vice Chairman of the Sovereignty Council praised the major media efforts made by the ministry, emphasizing the importance of the role of the media in the next stage.
The Dr. explained. Graham said the meeting discussed the ministry's efforts to cover internal and external developments, in addition to the press conferences it held, the most important of which were those related to the seat of the UAE ambassador to Khartoum. Sudan's foreign participation and activities organized by the ministry were also discussed, in addition to efforts to restore Sudanese antiquities and preparations for the establishment of the “Sudanese Heritage Village” in Kassala State.
