Media professionals come to Shendi and the normalization of life..!! ✍️Dr. Issam Batran
– I followed the news of the 2024-2025 academic year in the locality of Shendi on the scheduled date, and memories came back to me of the movement undertaken last year by the Association of Expatriate Journalists in partnership with the executive body of the locality. Shendi had the honor of being the first locality to absorb the shock after the repercussions of the war which caused the disruption of studies in the different states of Sudan.
– There has been a great effort to convince society of the need for life not to stop and for societal components, including the Expatriate Media Association, to play this role, notably the question of emptying certain schools of expatriates, to whom Shendi opened its doors wide. .
– The Association of Expatriate Media Professionals directed its arrows towards promoting the opening of schools by organizing an exhibition of school supplies, whose activities began at the home of Professor Azraq, at the headquarters of the Department of Culture, Media and Communications, like the first journalist, the human being imprinted and imbued with the love of Shendi, who opened her heart in front of her house to contain expatriate media professionals.
The exhibition was toured with its cultural activities and facilitated presentations on the needs of rural school students in the locality of Shendi in each of the villages of Shaqalwa, Sardiya and Housh Banga, and brought together a large audience who kept people away from worries. from the repercussions of the war and towards a bright future.
From afar, I extend my greetings and appreciation to Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, Executive Director of Shendi locality, who took up the challenge and exploited all possibilities to achieve this. I also greet the president of the Association. , Mr. Elias Abdel-Rahman, with whom I was united by the concerns of public work. He was the best loyal and selfless brother. And if it is a private greeting, I send it to Professor Noha Al-Sheikh and Professor Magdy. Al-Khalifa for submitting the proposal to organize an exhibition of school supplies and their supervision with male and female colleagues, members of the association who were a hive of bees despite the war conditions and made their participation in the local community of Shendi a symbol of love, loyalty and brotherhood..
