Meeting Al-Burhan – I expected it to be different! ✍️Bakri Al Madani See More

General Intelligence prepared the time and place and left politely, as in any situation in which they do all the work and (leave the thanks to others)!!

Intelligence is today the institution that acts in the most responsible and sensitive manner, and it is behind every action – a joke – and in front of every initiative of media personalities, artists, athletes and others. However, it has fighters on its side. field in the war, and intelligence in all this is ultimately content with the results and does not seek certificates.

President Commander Al-Burhan started bright, ready and in good shape to meet the journalists and the millionaire, as he said.

Actually, we needed this meeting

Today we are waging a media war in which people are accused of negligence, and the meeting – in the presence of the Minister of Information – was an opportunity to open the wound and clean it with salt and water!!

In fact, we are waging a deaf-mute war in which formal information is absent from public opinion on the operational situation, the progress of services and the flow of goods.

We are fighting a war in which journalists need detailed information about what is happening behind the scenes so that they can be guided in the directions necessary to create and steer public opinion in a way that serves the state's war and negotiation plans.

The meeting was necessary to cover some of this and others. Journalists are not a coordination of tribes, nor an association of playwrights, nor sports federations – with an assessment of roles – so we were here to ask and discuss – why the forces did not advance in the weak points of the militia in Khartoum and elsewhere, and why they delayed the release of civilians, and how Al-Fasher, Al-Obeid and Babanusa resisted while the beans and Sinja fell easily?!

We found ourselves asking and discussing: why has the momentum of popular resistance diminished while recruitment of movements has grown?!

We are here to ask and discuss: what goes into electricity? And the banking system? In the ports, what is the state of the strategic stock of cereals and medicines?

I am sure that the colleagues who came from abroad to meet the President found better opportunities than we did to listen and talk, because some of us – but not all – were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for the event and the enthusiasm of the moment for the objectivity of the conversation and the private meeting turned into something resembling a public party.

Personally, I don't blame anyone. I was selected and invited to speak at the presidential meeting a day ago, I was reminded to participate hours ago and I raised both hands – in the meantime – to try, but the crowd prevented me from picking up the signal, and maybe at the second meeting, as the president promised.
