Member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces visits residents of Abbasiya and Pant neighborhoods in Omdurman

Lieutenant General Yasser Abdel Rahman Hassan Al-Atta, member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, met with the population of the Abbasiya and Pant neighborhoods of Omdurman, in the presence of the Commander-in-Chief of Omdurman. Military district, engineering corps and heads of special operations.
The Commander of the Omdurman Military Region thanked the residents of Abbasiya and Pant for their determination and adherence to the defense and protection of their neighborhoods.
In his speech, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta praised all the people of Omdurman for their stance and support for the armed forces defending this ancient historic city of Omdurman.
He stressed that the steadfastness of his people was a motivation for the rest of the Sudanese people to rise up to defend this country, sending his greetings to the people of El Fasher, and reassured citizens of the efforts of the state government to create the conditions for the rapid return to life, thanking them for their patience and firmness.
His Excellency concluded the visit with a meeting with the Abbasiya and Pant ward committee, and promised to resolve all their problems and request the relevant authorities to expedite this task.
