Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Council, Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General, Marine Engineering Advisor *Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim*, was briefed on the great efforts made by the Swiss International Relief Organization in supporting and assisting the Sudanese people and providing humanitarian aid, the results of the organization's recent visit to the Nile and Red Sea States, and the services provided to war-affected people and poor families.
During his meeting today in his office with the organization's delegation, headed by Ms. Patricia Danzi, the Swiss envoy to the Horn of Africa, His Excellency expressed Sudan's thanks and appreciation to the Swiss government for its support to the Sudanese people and its keenness to provide humanitarian assistance to all.
The member of the Sovereignty Council stressed the depth of relations and ties between Sudan and Switzerland and Sudan's willingness to strengthen aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries in a manner that serves the interests of the peoples of both countries.
The meeting focused on the humanitarian and health situation in the country and efforts to overcome all obstacles and challenges facing the delivery of aid to people affected by the war.
