Minister of Health: The project of the complementary health insurance package constitutes a major step in the financing of programs

The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Supplementary Health Insurance Program was held today in the hall of the Ministries Complex in Port Sudan.
The Deputy Chairman of the Supplementary Package Board, Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, said that making the most of the amounts outside of health insurance is one of the strategies, stressing its use to improve medical services and achieve social solidarity, in addition to increasing insurance coverage in the country.
Haitham stressed that the most significant outcomes of the meeting were to ensure the start of the implementation of the service and establish structural administrative arrangements through the Fund, revealing the adoption of some steps, announcing the improvement of health services in a satisfactory manner in all states of Sudan.
