The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, has commended the tremendous efforts made by the Federal Ministry of Health to provide medical services after the outbreak of war on April 15, 2023, stressing that the organization will mobilize its efforts with international partners and donors to support the health system in Sudan.

For his part, the Director of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom said that the organization will mobilize efforts to support Sudan and provide more support to the health sector, indicating that Sudan needs more support from its partners.
In the same context, the Director of the World Health Organization for the Eastern Mediterranean Region, Dr. Hanan Hassan Balkhi, praised the role of the Federal Ministry of Health in providing medical services in light of the circumstances of war and natural disasters that Sudan is experiencing. disasters, noting that the World Health Organization office for the Eastern Mediterranean region is working to provide support to the health sector.
