Minister of Justice praises the efforts of the Central Bank of Sudan in the process of replacing the currency
The Minister of Justice, Dr. Muawiya Othman Muhammad Khair praised the efforts of the Central Bank of Sudan in the process of replacing electronic money, stressing that the war currently taking place in the country is focuses on three axes: military, economic and media. The minister appreciated the great effort. made by bank employees in the face of economic war and their success in the process of replacing currency.
This happened during his visit today to the Central Bank of Sudan in Port Sudan, accompanied by the Attorney General of the Republic of Sudan and Head of the Sector, Maulana Ali Khadr.
He was received by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Mr. Borai Siddiq Ali, his deputies and the Director of the Port Sudan Branch of the Central Bank of Sudan.
The minister also received further clarification from the Governor of the Bank of Sudan on the progress of the process.
The governor confirmed that the replacement process is taking place in accordance with specific guidelines and objectives, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation and the implementation of cash operations through electronic payment methods.
