Due to its membership in the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, the Government of the Republic of Sudan supports all efforts and wise positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding political developments in the Republic of Yemen, including its response to the recent request of the Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, regarding the holding of a comprehensive conference in the city of Riyadh for all southern components of the dialogue in order to achieve just and peaceful solutions to the southern question.
The Government of Sudan also calls for respecting the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen and encouraging all people of Yemen to sit down and negotiate to achieve a peaceful solution that brings stability to the country and spares the country the dangers of external interference that seeks to tear apart the unity of the Republic of Yemen.
