The Federal Ministry of Health signed with the Indonesian disaster delegation to receive the third humanitarian aid grant provided by the Indonesian government, amounting to 53 tons of medicines, shelter materials and therapeutic food for children costing one million dollars, in Port Sudan, and it was signed on the Sudanese side by the Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Ismat Mustafa, on the Indonesian side, Deputy Minister of the Government's National Disaster Management Authority, Jarwansa, in the presence of the Acting Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the representative of the Humanitarian Aid Commission, Dr. Al-Sadiq Adam Ibrahim and the Ambassador Indonesian Sonarko, as well as the leaders of the Federal Ministry of Health.

Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Commissioner Dr. Ismat Mustafa, in statements to the press today at Port Sudan Airport after signing the grant receipt from the Indonesian Disaster Delegation visiting the country, said the grant contains medicines, medical supplies, intravenous solutions and therapeutic food for children, in three shipments. , the latest of which arrived today Friday, indicating that the aid provided by the Indonesian side is committed to implementing the needs to meet the needs of the health sector, and according to what has been agreed, identifying the necessary needs for the health sector.

Ismat stressed that Indonesia's humanitarian aid responds to the country's real needs in light of the needs of the health sector following the wave of torrents, floods and epidemics, noting that Indonesia-Sudan cooperation includes several areas , notably health and humanitarian cooperation.

The authorized officer thanked the Indonesian government, the Indonesian people and its ambassador to Sudan for the support provided to Sudan.

For his part, the representative of the Humanitarian Aid Commission, Dr. Al-Sadiq Adam said that the second Indonesian plane carried humanitarian and medical aid, welcoming the strong response of the Indonesian side to meet the needs of the country .

In the same context, Indonesian Deputy Minister of the National Disaster Management Authority, Jarwansa, said that Indonesian aid is the second to help Sudan in its current multiple crises, indicating that Sudanese-Indonesian relations are distinguished and that the Indonesian government appreciates the support of Sudan. Indonesia still needs and accepts Sudan, which indicates that Indonesia regards Sudan as a brother country, despite the geographical distance between them.
