Mr. Naji Mansour, speaking at the opening session on behalf of Sudan, said in his explanation of the current situation Sudan is going through since the outbreak of war on April 15, 2023, that studies have been suspended for a whole year and more. over 19 million boys and girls have lost their places in education, welcoming the bold decisions of the Council Chairman, his deputy, the Minister of Education and state governors that schools have been opened in some safe states, he added. that they will be opened gradually.
Naji thanked His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco, may God grant him victory, for this initiative, which he considered a lifeline to save African countries and accelerate lifelong learning. of life by 2030 AD. apologized to Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO, Professor Mahmoud Saralkhatm Muhammad Al-Houri, and Professor Wafa Sayed Ahmed, Secretary General of the National Committee.
