National Health Support Initiative finds favor – the latest treatment – ✍️ Khaled Fadl Al-Sayyid

We received an invitation to attend the press conference of the Ministry of Culture and Information, organized by SUNA News Agency, which hosted the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Muhammad Ibrahim, and the dialogue platform was moderated by Mr. Khaled Al-Aasar, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism. The central theme of the conference was the national initiative to support health, while the Minister of Health responded to what was presented to him by journalists and media professionals, and cleared up much of the confusion that reigned around the health and medicine sector.

One of the advantages of this conference is that it revealed the role of the national initiative sponsored by the Supreme Committee of the Council of Ministers to combat dengue and malaria, which expresses the interest of high state authorities in the concerns and problems of citizens. One of the positive points of this initiative is that it makes the citizen himself a partner in operations to fight these diseases and epidemics. The matter did not end there, but segments of expatriates outside Sudan, businessmen, philanthropists and citizens came to participate in this initiative, which was successfully carried out. We announce it, which will be officially launched on…

The biggest challenge remains how to maintain this initiative so that it continues its path to respond to the problems of the health sector, which needs support in light of the circumstances that the country is going through.

However, we draw the attention of those responsible for this initiative to an important point, which is the multiplicity of commissions, despite their importance, but which will break the back of the initiative. As they say, if you want to kill a subject, create committees, then a committee from which will emerge a committee, incentives, various subjects, etc., which will remove the initiative from its basic message.

This is in addition to the representative selection of those who work in its management. They must be selected based on specific characteristics and exclude anyone around whom there is suspicion of corruption, and the committee must work on the principle of transparency and openness. As long as the media are part of this committee, they must take ownership of the information and respond clearly to requests for information in order to present them to public opinion. The money that will be raised will be huge, and donors want reassurance that their money has gone where it needs to be.

*What is the income of this former government institution?*

We are now closely monitoring the factions and blocs that have emerged in any of the public sector institutions united by interests. The director left them the rope on the boat after sharing the positions and putting back to work the executives who belonged to him politically (shamelessly). And this group took advantage and empowered all its members to become department directors after ousting other deserving executives in blatant administrative corruption that irritates the nose. What scared us more is that this group that dominated the decision-making centers has coordination and follow-up with the former director who was fired, and some of them took care of him themselves, and what they are doing now is considered repayment of his debt. During his reign, he plunged the institution and the entire sector into a spiral of conflicts that completely failed it. He is known for violating the laws of public service and circumventing them to fight his opponents or those who disagree with him or who reject his method of exercise, and because this group seeks, through coordination and communication with him, to bring him back to the stage helping him reach the decision-making centers, not in the institution, but within the ministry itself, but this time they did not succeed in bringing him back as an agent, and from there, this group has become a source of danger for the ministry itself, which will include among its objectives, putting the former director back in the forefront, that is, thwarting the plans and programs of the current ministry by all possible means, trying to prove that it is a failure, so that the minister is removed from office in view of the return of the former director, who is currently being executed. Let us now coordinate with him, and we warn that unless we use the scalpel to put an end to this absurdity and administrative chaos, their presence in the decision-making centers of this ancient institution and their coordination with the former director, who is characterized by his cunning and cunning, will drag the institution and the entire sector into a whirlwind of conflicts, which in turn will have a major impact on the performance of the government and can send several messages as long as the director has a political affiliation to the shameless, and part of leaving the rope in the cans of the boat for the management of the institution will be to help him implement the plan, knowing that this institution has the tools to arouse the anger and discontent of the street or public opinion.

Our message is sent to the relevant authorities: unless the situation is corrected, unpleasant consequences will occur sooner or later.

*Health calls on community to participate in national health support initiative*

*Port Sudan: Khaled Fadl Al-Sayyid*

The Ministry of Culture and Information held its Awareness Conference No. (37), organized by SUNA News Agency, at the General Security and Intelligence Service Hall in Port Sudan, during which it welcomed Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, Federal Minister of Health, to speak on the national health support initiative.

Addressing the conference, the Federal Health Minister said that this initiative is sponsored by the Supreme Committee of the Council of Ministers for Combating Dengue and Malaria.

He explained that what the militias did to destroy the country and the health sector caused the emergence of these epidemics, and indicated that they are containing them by implementing programs with aid companies and competent authorities to distribute mosquito nets and sprays of various types to limit the spread of epidemics.

Haitham pointed out that when it comes to corella fever, dengue fever and malaria, they have a weekly and periodic bulletin that shows the number of cases in any location, which allows them to distribute resources and medicines in that area, noting that malaria and dengue fever are still at high rates, despite a slight decline, after extensive interventions to contain them.

He added that the Ministry of Finance coordinated with the Ministry of Finance before the appearance of these epidemics, since they received the autumn budget, which was in December last year, which amounted to 144 billion, and they approved the amount of 9 billion available now, from 15% to 20%, emphasizing that the gap is large and that it is necessary to provide mechanisms and provide popular support, civil defense and people in alert to work in control operations, emphasizing that the Ministry of Finance provided support by providing pesticides which greatly helped them, emphasizing that international interventions are rare, including the distribution of mosquito nets, but that control work on the ground was below the required level.

Haitham added that the Ministry of the Council of Ministers announced the formation of a committee to combat malaria and dengue fever, noting that the Ministry of Information is part of this committee for the role of the media in mobilizing society through awareness and continuous messaging alongside the relevant authorities.

He pointed out that after the announcement of this initiative, many different sectors of society flocked to participate, including citizens, stakeholders, businessmen and organizations, as announced, and state institutions also took the initiative to participate, stressing that they had prepared the conditions required for this.

Haitham confirmed that there is no medical supply crisis, noting that operational vehicles now number 28 and that they have used vehicles from Gedaref, emphasizing that they are unable to control the disease for many reasons which pose an obstacle. He indicated that hospitals in Khartoum State are currently operating at 33, a rate of 90%, stressing that they focus on peripheral hospitals.

Regarding these outbreaks, Haitham denied the existence of biological warfare, as rumored, and confirmed that he had investigated and confirmed it. Regarding chemicals in Berri, he confirmed that the warehouse contained chlorine used to sterilize swimming pools, but that militiamen manipulated its contents and that the situation is now under control.
