Professor Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, Deputy Governor of the Nile and Minister of Culture, Information and Communications, highlighted the importance of promoting religious values in Sudanese society, especially in light of the serious challenges imposed by war.
This happened during his speech at the graduation ceremony of a new batch of Holy Quran memorizers at the Spirit and Wind Center for Holy Quran Memorization in Atbara, in the presence of an elite group reciters, sheikhs and a representative of state religious affairs. .
The vice governor praised the role of the center in raising the status of the Holy Quran and the graduating students who have memorized the Book of God, stressing that this step comes at a critical time when concerted efforts are needed to build a society strong, adding that the war has created new challenges that require work to strengthen religious and social values, especially among young people, to build a generation aware of its role and in solidarity with its country.
Al-Sharif called on Quran memorization centers to intensify their efforts to remind society of the importance of the Holy Quran and Islamic values, and to raise a generation that adheres to its national and religious identity. He also stressed the need to invest in the energies of Sudanese women and train them in various fields, highlighting the central role of Quranic centers in this regard.
Al-Sharif conveyed the greetings of the State Governor, Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel Majeed Abu Qarun, and his affirmation of his constant support to the people of the Quran, wishing the victory of our armed forces on all battle fronts . .
For his part, Sheikh Awad, may God have mercy on him, appreciated the state government's interest in the Holy Quran memorization centers, highlighting the blessings of memorizing the Holy Quran and its impact on the lives of the individual and society.
At the end of the ceremony, the graduates were honored with a number of gifts and prizes of encouragement, and a fragrant Quranic recitation was presented by reciter Sheikh Al-Zein, which received the approval of the participants .
