Dr. Hassan Hamad Al-Sayed, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for the Protection and Promotion of the State Environment, presented detailed reports on the performance of the General Secretariat of the State Government, the future plan, the council's working regulations and the environmental laws, which were referred to the Council of Ministers of the State Government for final approval after their approval by the meeting.

They highlighted the challenges facing the state in light of climate change, in addition to the dangers of mining and its negative environmental impacts, especially with regard to the environment.
