During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Radio and Television Authority and the state authorities. It was signed on behalf of the state by Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture, Information and Communications. the Nile, while Mr. Ibrahim Al-Bazai, Director General, signed on behalf of the National Authority.

The memorandum pays particular attention to the areas of training and qualification of working staff and capacity building, in addition to what is related to technical and engineering aspects.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdul Majid Abu Qarun, Acting Governor of Nile, expressed his great joy at the visit of the federal minister and the signing of the MoU, which he described as a mission. the importance and role of the media in raising awareness, understanding and defining, stressing that Nile State is considered one of the states with components and advantages in the fields of economy, investment, industry, mining and tourism. The governor also indicated that the state is witnessing a broad and diligent movement in various fields, despite the circumstances in which the country is going. thanks to the events of the rebellion, but the state continued to see the birth of many development and service projects, and the state was able to start the academic year and end it, in addition to the fact that the state received a large number of expatriates, three times higher than the population of the state. The Governor added that the State has come up with the Productive Expatriates Initiative and aims to provide any productive family or individual with four acres of land to cultivate during the current agricultural season. The experiment had already started during the previous winter season in some areas and had achieved high productivity and the expatriate was able to secure his livelihood and even sell the surplus to meet his other needs. The Governor expressed deep satisfaction over the distinguished media performance in the State and the efforts being made by all media agencies and executives to reflect and highlight the ongoing movement in the State.

For his part, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader, Federal Minister of Culture and Information, praised the initiatives of the Nile State government in all fields and added that the Nile State was able, during the current war period, to provide a model and example at the level of the states of the country, especially since the state is considered the state that received a large number of arrivals following the rebellion. They were treated as residents of the state by providing services and hosting the children of expatriate students in the state schools and completely exempting them from examination fees, in an image that reflected the Sudanese slogan with all its components, “We have a homeland.” The state also presented the “Productive Expatriates” initiative to encourage a culture of production and work. stressing that what we have seen is the seriousness of this state. Regarding agriculture, he assured us that Sudan, God willing, will not starve to death as the enemies and agents of Sudan inside and outside claim. The federal minister praised the distinguished and effective performance of Sudan. state media agencies and added that from this visit, we focus on strengthening and expanding the broadcasting circle in the field of radio and television and emphasizing the role of these agencies in consolidating the meanings of unity and nationalism, rejecting division and diaspora, and emphasizing the strong ties that unite the Sudanese people with its different components and tribes. He added that we want to activate cultural work, that culture represents a bridge of communication and thickens the unifying vessel that unites the consciousness and attention of the Sudanese people. to the people of culture and arts and their role in the next stage of improving the social fabric. The minister indicated that the visit also focuses on the aspect of antiquities and their protection, especially since the Nile State is home to the largest antiquities of Naqaa and Musawwarat region, which have been registered as world antiquities by UNESCO. He called for the need to protect these antiquities from theft and natural factors and preserve them as a national treasure.

For his part, Mr. Mustafa Muhammad Othman Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture, Information and Communications of the State, indicated that the visit of the federal minister and the signing of the memorandum of understanding represent a great boost for media work in the state, especially after the distinguished performance of all media agencies and executives in the battle and the praise the ministry received from the state leadership, federal authorities and the state government, he added. They are aware of the great responsibility that falls on this ministry, especially in the next stage, and the roles required in media and cultural work in all its forms, he stressed, their greatest concern is focused on improving and developing the performance, training and qualification of media executives, especially since the media has become the forefront of the sector. launches and now this war is managed by the media after the great success achieved by the armed forces, the regular forces and the support of the mobilized in the battle of Al-Karamah, may God be praised. signs of a comprehensive victory, which will happen soon, God willing. For their part, the leaders of the media services in the Nile State affirmed their full readiness to advance the reality of media work in the state and in Sudan in general.
