Nile: Information Ministry develops strategy to address post-war challenges

The Ministry of Culture, Information and Communications of River Nile State has started to develop a strategy for the next phase based on the role of the media in strengthening the social fabric and combating the effects of war.

Nile State Minister of Culture, Information and Communications Mustafa Al-Sharif said that the media strategy in the next stage may take a different form than it was before, before and during the war.

The Minister of Information of the Nile State, Mustafa Al-Sharif, revealed that the media strategy is based on confronting the challenges of the post-war period, especially since many external parties and organizations are involved in the construction and reconstruction processes, and this The overlap of what is internal and external requires addressing a specific methodology at this stage, especially to preserve the identity of the society from any external influence and to confront the effects of the war in its various economic, social and cultural fields.

The minister stressed that the Nile State was able to lead the national media at a critical stage in Sudan's history with the outbreak of the war and connect the society and the world to Sudan and its cause of repelling aggression and defeating the enemy.

Minister of Culture and Information Mustafa Al-Sharif explained that the Nile State had succeeded in managing the media in Sudan at the beginning of the war, when the national media was disrupted and the military media was stopped to the same extent. It is now preparing to manage the post-war media according to a specific strategy.

The Ministry of Culture and Information of the Nile State discussed with the Supreme Council for Strategic Planning ways to develop the cultural and media sector in 2025 in accordance with this strategy in the next stage.
