It has become one of the important and strategic states that Sudan relies on for its economic development.
All these characteristics have led the state to pay attention to the media aspect of its different types, as it is the important and influential sector at this stage to reflect the bright face of the state and present it inside and outside, which is why it began to develop and promote it to serve the state in its investment and economic plan.
The Ministry of Culture, Media and Communications of the State, through its directors and ministers, has become the tip of the spear and the dynamo that relies on it at this stage. Efforts have been unified so that the roles are integrated into a single crucible. advance and develop the media in order to serve the State and its economic and investment objectives.
Through well-thought-out plans and measures, the state has begun to implement its media plan by developing the media, training media professionals, technicians and administrators, and rehabilitating media institutions such as television, radio and satellite channels. feel the footsteps and go beyond borders, then global, after activating the media institutions, the signs of which have begun to appear clearly.
As part of the efforts of the state government to promote and develop the media and its media institutions, Radio Beladi has been re-broadcasted at the Shindi Broadcasting Centre, covering Shendi and Matama localities. With the return of Radio Beladi to Shindi, all national radio stations operating in the country will regularly operate their stations in Shendi and Matama localities.
In light of this media development, the state has not forgotten its role towards the homeland, defending it and standing alongside the armed forces in the same trench against international conspiracies targeting the state, the homeland and its armed forces.
The Nile State is considered the first state from which the spark of popular resistance was launched, as Al Karama training camps were opened in its various cities and villages under the supervision of the leadership of the 3rd Infantry Division of Shindi State. It equipped a large number of mobilized personnel who participated in military operations inside and outside the state and counted a number of martyrs among the leaders and individuals, and after that, the rest of the states followed suit.
In the same vein, the media, both printed and visual, played an important role in the mobilization and alerts that took place inside the country due to the war waged by the rebel Rapid Support militias against the homeland and the armed forces.
In this media field, cooperation took place with the military media, represented by the Moral Directorate, the official mouthpiece of the army, as well as the Armed Forces Radio and the Armed Forces Journal, in their capacity as part of the media system. In the state, this was clearly demonstrated in the creation of the media room to refute the rumors that united the message and the media discourse. The media room managed to refute the lies and confront the rumors spread by the rebel media through various newspapers and media platforms.
In addition to the local media in the state, the government brought with it media professionals from Khartoum State to the Nile State to benefit from their media expertise. The governor of the state, Mr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed, He met them and members of his government among the ministers in the hospitality palace when they came, welcoming them and motivating them at the same time for their effective role in dealing with the problems. The nationalists were asked to write without fear about the shortcomings and defects. , as they were considered the fourth estate.
On their part, the expatriate media professionals formed an association that grouped them all together, called (the Khartoum River Nile Media Association), from which other media branches branched out in the cities where the media professionals were distributed according to the geographical locations of their residence. These associations published electronic newspapers specific to the cities in which they settled, which helped to spread community awareness in the state and reflect the bright face of these cities and villages. to refute rumors through the media room to refute rumors from those who are part of their training.
As part of activating the media work, the governor of the state, Mohamed Al-Badawi, met in the city of Al-Damer with the delegation of the General Union of Sudanese Journalists, which included some members of the executive office headed by Mr. Al. -Sadiq Al-Raziqi, chairman of the Union, and the three leaders of the state sub-union, headed by Mr. Jamal Makkawi, as well as the vice president of the African Journalists Union. The meeting discussed many issues. In the field of journalism and media in the Nile State and at the national level, the meeting secured the participation of the Nile State Journalists Sub-Syndicate in the meeting of journalists with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan in the city of Port Sudan, in addition to intensifying the training of journalists and media professionals in the Nile State, inside and outside Sudan, to benefit from the agreements signed with Turkey.
The meeting resulted in the allocation of a vehicle and a house to the state journalists' sub-syndicate, and the governor agreed to immediately own seven rickshaws as a first payment and to establish a sub-fund for the care of Sudanese journalists and doctors. cards for health care.
It is also expected that journalists from Khartoum and the States will be supported by the World Press Federation grant.
An initial approval was given to establish towns to accommodate journalists and media workers on the Nile and provide them with livelihoods. Mr. Al-Sadiq Al-Ruzaiqi, Chairman of the General Union of Sudanese Journalists, praised the support and assistance provided.
