Nile State Minister of Culture, Information and Communications Opens Training Workshop for Directors and Supervisors of Student Activities in Residential Complexes, Inaugurates Delivery of Incentive Aids to Complexes
Professor Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture, Information and Communications of the Nile State and Chairman of the Activities Committee of the Student Support Fund, stressed the central role of student activities in refining the national identity of students and strengthening their national affiliation.
This came during the opening of the training workshop, organized by the National Fund for the Welfare of State Students, for directors and supervisors of student activities in residential complexes, which coincided with the inauguration of the delivery of new stimulating aids to the complexes under the slogan “For you, Sudan”.
Minister Al-Sharif praised the important role played by the Fund in supporting students in the state, stressing the role of the Fund in hosting Sudanese students who arrive there, noting that the state has continued to represent the national dimension of all the Sudanese people, and effectively contributes to strengthening social cohesion and the unity of the Sudanese fabric. He also thanked the Nile Valley University and the state's educational sector for their tireless efforts that contributed to the continuation of the educational process in the state.
The Minister stressed the importance of this workshop in qualifying cadres working in the field of student activities in residential complexes and boarding schools, stressing that the current stage requires concerted efforts to build a generation aware of its national responsibilities, stressing the need to instill national values in the souls of students and nurture the creative among them, praising the great societal role it plays. Youth can play a role in building Sudan.
For his part, Professor Hassan Haj Al-Saem, Director of the Nile Valley University, pointed out that the university has hosted a large number of private universities and colleges from war-affected areas, stressing the major role played by the Student Support Fund in hosting students in residential complexes, stressing the importance of continuing to activate activities and interest in the training process.
In turn, Mr. Ahmed Muhammad Hussein Kaltos, Secretary of the National Fund for Welfare of State Students, confirmed that the workshop addressed several aspects, including the preparation of reports, plans and perceptions, the role of student activities and their psychological and educational impact, indicating that the aim of this workshop is to prepare qualified cadres for activity supervisors in order to ensure a successful launch of activities in residential complexes, especially in light of the current circumstances that require concerted efforts.
At the end of the opening session of the workshop, the Minister distributed incentive aids to the residential complexes, which include equipment for cultural and sports activities and other materials supporting student activities. In addition, support provided by Islamic foundations was provided to the residences. complexes, consisting of three audio devices.
