North Darfur Governor Hafiz Bakhit announces general alert for all components of the state

The Acting Governor of North Darfur State, Hafiz Bakhit Muhammad, announced a general alert for all youth and components of the state, as well as the opening of training and mobilization camps, as part of efforts to liberate the town of El Fasher and establish security in the region.
The governor praised the sacrifices made by the heroes of the Sixth Division, the Joint Forces, the Intelligence Services, the police and the popular resistance, praising their steadfastness throughout the siege of El Fasher. He also praised the great role of women and popular resistance, stressing that the year 2026 will be a year of peace and stability.
The governor revealed, during an enlightening meeting held with state leaders in Port Sudan City today, that he was planning inspection visits to IDP camps in White Nile, Khartoum, Kassala, Northern State and Nile States, to ascertain the conditions of the IDPs, review their problems and develop necessary solutions and treatments.
He explained that the priorities of the visits will include health, education and issuance of identity documents, in addition to issues of food and accommodation, noting the formation of coordinating bodies to follow up these files with the competent authorities of the concerned states.
He stressed that he was working to resolve the problems of school fees by reducing or waiving them, and coordinating the establishment of centers for the Sudanese certificate examinations for the year 2026 for displaced students from North Darfur, in addition to the issuance of health insurance cards.
For his part, the head of the National Committee for National Support and Liberation of El Fasher, Dr. Bahr Idris Abu Garda, said that the liberation of the city of El Fasher is a matter of time, noting that the city recorded a record number of firmness and courage, stressing that security and stability will soon be restored.
Abu Garda described the state governor, Al-Hafiz Bakhit, as a symbol of steadfastness and political leadership, calling for the need to promote reconciliation and strengthen the social fabric in the next stage, combat hate speech and work together for construction and prosperity.
