Northern Governor Calls on Traffic Department to Get Involved in Urban Planning Committees
The Acting Governor of the North, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah in Dongola attended the launch of the training workshop activities organized by the Traffic Department in Dongola *titled Technical Skills for Traffic Works*
It targets thirty employees of the state's traffic and highway services.
This happened in the presence of the directors of the departments and specialized police services of the state.
The state governor addressed the training workshop and said traffic management is a pillar of security.
Stressing the importance of training to increase capacity, he highlighted the involvement of the national traffic department in urban planning committees.
Stressing the need for the Traffic Department to implement organized campaigns in localities targeting vehicles violating traffic laws.
During his speech, the state governor commended the state traffic and highways departments for the success of the pilgrim delegation this year.
For his part, the Director of State Police, Major General Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Amin, praised the efforts of the Traffic and Express Traffic Departments and said that this course is in line with the circumstances the country is going through and the efforts to regulate traffic on internal roads and road traffic in the state.
*It should be noted* that the training workshop covers three topics: cooperation with the public, traffic laws and basic traffic procedures.
