Northern Governor Confirms Support for Health Insurance Services
Northern State Governor, Mr Abdeen Awadallah, has affirmed the state government's support for efforts to restore health insurance services.
This came during his meeting with the Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund, Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daim, and his accompanying delegation.

He highlighted the great coordination with the Fund in matters of health insurance services and financing.
The Managing Director of the National Health Insurance Fund said the Northern Ministry of Finance under the leadership of the state governor was committed to paying the arrears of salary contributions of the fund. He commended the significant participation of the state government in the implementation of the plan. To restore health insurance services in the state in over two hundred health facilities, Dr Farouk announced the launch of the Supplementary Medical Services service in the state.
