Northern Governor congratulates Armed Forces on their seventieth anniversary
Northern State Governor Abdeen Awadallah has congratulated the Armed Forces on the seventieth anniversary of the Sudanization of the Armed Forces on August 14, 1954, as the first national institution to be Sudanese.
Stressing that this anniversary comes as the armed forces are waging the battle of pride and dignity, making efforts and sacrifices to preserve the unity of the Sudanese state and thwart the biggest international and regional conspiracy the country has faced in its long history.
The state governor commended the firm stance, solidarity and cooperation of the Sudanese people and their support for the armed forces in the battle for dignity against the rebel Rapid Support militia.
He praised the armed forces, other regular forces, the popular resistance and the people mobilized on different fronts who give the best example in the defense of the honor and dignity of the homeland.
The state governor also took pity on the nation's martyrs
Wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded and injured, and may God restore the prisoners and missing persons.
