Northern Governor Inspects Awlad El Balad Camp

The acting governor of the northern state, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, accompanied by the state security committee and the head of the state chamber of commerce, visited the *Awlad Al-Balad* battalion camp in Dongola.

The state governor commended the battalion's efforts in protecting the state's capabilities.

Stressing that it is part of the regular forces and operates under the command of the armed forces

*For his part, the commander of the Dongola *75* Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Malik Muhammad Ramli, indicated that the Awlad Al-Balad Battalion is part of the 19th Infantry Division and that it is fulfilling its role in securing the borders of the western state.

In the same context, the Governor of the North, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, along with the security committee and the state chamber of commerce visited the camp of the Awlad Al-Balad battalion in the Al-Khanaq region, in the administrative unit of Ibri.

The executive director of Halfa locality, Abu Abdullah Burhan, confirmed that this battalion is a major asset in strengthening security and stability in the region.

*In the same context, the head of the State Chamber of Commerce, Ahmed Al-Muddathir, highlighted the important role played by the Awlad Al-Balad Brigade in protecting the state in the field of combating smuggling and protecting citizens.

He stressed that the Chamber of Commerce stands alongside the armed forces and all the forces belonging to them in the service of this country and its people.

*For his part, the commander of the Awlad Al-Balad battalion, Hussein Yahya Jumaa, confirmed his willingness to defend the land and honor.

*In the same vein, the State Security Committee held a meeting with the local security committee in Halfa, at the headquarters of the Awlad al-Balad battalion camp in Al-Khanaq region.

The northern governor stressed the importance of coordination between the locality of Halfa and the battalion, stressing that they will find all the care and support
