Northern Governor meets delegation from Sai Island

The Governor of the Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, met this morning in his office with the Sai Island delegation to learn about the obstacles facing the island's mine, in the presence of the company's director Sudanese, Abdul Rahman Al-Nadeef, the Secretary General of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr Al-Sadiq Abdul-Rasoul, and the Secretary General of Urban Planning, Engineer Khaled Musa.

The state governor welcomed the visiting delegation, promising to overcome all obstacles

He charged the general secretaries to monitor the mine's work on the ground and provide all assistance and mechanisms to enable the island's inhabitants to fulfill their role.

The general secretaries ensured that all issues were addressed and resolved

In this context, Mr. Yahya Jabara Hassan Daoud spoke about the problems facing mining and the topics that were discussed.

He said reconciliation was achieved between sections of the society through the intervention of the governor and resolution of differences.

He expressed his thanks in advance to the governor and administrators who have affirmed their support and assistance to the people of Sai Island until the mine is developed and its resources exploited.
