Northern Governor Orders Completion of Procedures to Uncover Truth About Body at Archaeological Site
The Acting Governor of Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, was briefed on the progress and performance of the Supreme Tourism Council in the state and its plan for the next stage.
This came during a meeting with the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Sadiq Abdel Raouf, in his office.
The state governor was also briefed on the action taken by the council after a body was found at the site in Sai area.
The Secretary General of the Council explained that it was not known whether the body was a mummy or not.
Recalling that a specialized working team has been set up to study this issue
He stressed that the council will take all necessary measures to find out the truth about this organization.
