Not to defend Yasser Al-Atta… but – Masarat – ✍️ Mahfouz Abdeen

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, was the subject of a verbal attack through the media in response to his speech before the delegation of the Union of Sudanese journalists, who recently visited Omdurman, Bahri and East Nile, Khartoum State.

The pens covered Al-Atta's speech in his call to cleanse the joints of the state and government of dirty people and Janjaweed who disrupt the functioning of these institutions, some of which Al-Atta named by name , such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bank of Sudan, Tax and Customs Bureau and Attorney General.

His detractors accused him of being one of the leaders of the State, but rather one of the three most important in the Sovereignty Council and one of the three most important in the general “command” of the armed forces, and he had to do it. order or make decisions to remove filth and Janjaweed from the “joints” of the state, which infected it with “dampness” and slowed down its movement while in the state. At the same time, he must move towards. broader horizons because the country has postponed the battle of construction and reconstruction until after the end of this war, which is about to end, and awaits the declaration of complete victory and the elimination once and for all of the rapid support militia.

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta when he spoke these words to the delegation of the Sudanese Journalists Union. I was one of them and I was very close to him, two people away from his seat in the living room where the meeting was taking place, and Al-Atta meant what he said.

In this meeting, Al-Atta spoke about two points: the first is (the liberation) of the state and government articulations of the Qahata and the Janjaweed, and the second point is the poor performance of the Sudanese embassies in the foreigner in denouncing violations and atrocities. and crimes committed by the Rapid Support Militia against defenseless citizens, including murder, rape, looting, looting, and displacement. Sudanese embassies abroad must inform global public opinion through press conferences and inform leaders of host countries or ambassadors residing there about these terrible events. Al-Atta, in his speech to the Sudanese Journalists Union delegation, referred to the Sudanese Embassy in Djibouti, which is the first embassy to carry out this mission.

The fact that the meeting of the delegation of Sudanese journalists with Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta had an advantage is that his speech moved the ambassadors of Sudan abroad and they held press conferences, meetings and meetings in this regard and spoke about the violations committed by the militia. Among the embassies that moved immediately after Al-Atta's speech were Sudanese embassies in Britain, France, Morocco, Kenya and others.

The first decision of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Youssef, towards the Sudanese ambassadors abroad was the same as the content of Yasser Al-Atta's interview with the delegation of the Journalists' Union, which was to inform public opinion international publicity of these violations.

As for Al-Atta's remarks on the elimination of the Qahata and the Janjaweed from the joints of the state and the government, this is a directive addressed to the leaders of the institutions that Yasser Al-Atta mentioned by name or that he did not mention to clean up their institutions. institutions of persons with disabilities to perform public service in the country, and just as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its ambassadors acted to inform global public opinion of the violations committed by the militias. Prompt support: State leaders and government institutions are the ones with full support. knowledge of their employees, old and new employees, and therefore the process of purification and removal of the disabled from Qahta and Janjaweed will be an easy affair and the leaders of these state and government institutions will not be incapable of doing it implement.

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta did not just mention some of these institutions by name, but he did a great service to the leaders of these institutions when he presented some solutions to drive out the filthy Janjaweed through dismissal , transfer or disposal.

Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta said in his speech to journalists that they work according to the institution, even in the armed forces, of which he is one of the senior commanders. He works according to the institution through the general staff.

Yasser Al-Atta's statement means that any state or government institution must play its role in dismantling restrictions and obstacles that hinder the launch of public service.

All that remains is to wait until the leaders of the institutions begin the process of releasing from the civil service those who are disabled there, including the rudes and the Janjaweed.
