Of the era of nihilism… what history will be written? (1_5) ✍️ Rashan O'Shea
Since the beginning of this war, the “Hemedti” militias have deliberately planned a terrible plan. Other atrocities are occurring in the corridors of the state and, under the cover of power, the institutions and money of the Sudanese people are being destroyed. , who experiences an unforgettable humiliation, is pillaged.
The Sudanese state has entered an era of confusion, as well as an era of nihilism. It appears to be disintegrating at the edges.
As humanity has known from time immemorial, that a piece of rotten “onion” in a bag spoils all other onions, and this also applies to humans, and it was mentioned in the Bible: “Beware – you false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but they are ravening wolves, and you will know them by their fruits. Do they pick grapes from thistles or figs from thistles? So every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Despite the major events that are still ravaging Sudan, it is clear that we need a shock more violent than the devastating war of April 15 which destroyed crops, breasts and populations, in order to wake us up and help us to find better ways to deal with problems. public service.
Despite the efforts of Sudanese leaders to protect what remains of our country from the repercussions of the potential and dangerous war looming on the horizon, some senior officials are struggling to fish in troubled waters, exploiting the present moment and the concern of the state. regulatory agencies with war.
The Ministry of Social Development has been linked to a number of corruption cases, which we will discuss in detail in this series of articles.

The state government refused to pay it and the Finance Ministry was asked to pay the amount, but the officer “Abdullah Ibrahim” refused on this ground. that the amount was large and the general budgetary situation did not allow it, but the Minister of Finance “Dr Jibril Ibrahim” ignored the agent's decision and paid an amount of (15) million pounds, while the Gedaref State Zakat Office sponsored an amount of (11) million, and the Investment Fund an amount of (5) million pounds to supplement the cost of renting a house worthy of the position of the Minister of Social Development “Ahmed Adam Bakhit”.
As the house was unfurnished, Minister “Ahmed Adam Bakhit” demanded the purchase of new furniture, air conditioners and kitchen utensils. The State of Gedaref had to pay an amount of (55) million pounds to purchase the furniture alone. After a short period, the minister demanded the purchase of a “refrigerator and kitchen utensils,” and the purchase was made. Addressing the Gedaref State Government, after pressure on the governor, the amount of (5) million was approved. the financial procedure was delayed due to the documentary cycle. The Minister of Social Development did not wait, but instead submitted new invoices to the Ministry of Finance amounting to (69) million pounds for the purchase of kitchen equipment. pay the amount.
Social Development Minister 'Ahmad Adam Bakhit' was not happy with the huge sum spent on furnishing his luxurious new home, but instead presented a bill worth (16) million pounds for the maintenance of his car intended for official races, which was paid by the Zakat office in Gedaref State.
This is today's Sudan, the shipwreck of lives, the shipwreck of souls, the shipwreck of the State, the crimes of corruption and the plundering of public money, and the most horrible thing is that its heroes are those who bear the burden of aid. to starving children and new orphans, and striving to make the Sudanese sleep soundly amid the nightmares of the horror of war.
In the next episode of this series, we will recount the gruesome details of two women who were convicted of reprehensible corruption crimes. One of them was recently appointed undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development against the wishes of the Ministry of the Council of Ministers.
