On the occasion of his farewell – the President of the Sovereignty Council meets the Sudanese ambassador to Angola

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with the Ambassador of Sudan to the Republic of Angola, Ambassador Abdel Raouf Amer Ali Amer, on the occasion of his farewell to take up his duties.
This was in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin.
Ambassador Abdel Raouf said in a press statement that the meeting with the President of the Sovereign Council was fruitful and constructive, during which he listened to the advice and guidance of Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan on the need to develop and promote Sudan's relations with the Republic of Angola.
Referring to the historical relations between the two countries, he said he would do his utmost to develop these relations in a manner that serves the interests of Sudan and improves prospects for joint cooperation.
