Port Sudan Port Receives Turkish Humanitarian Ship

Port Sudan Port received a Turkish aid ship bound for Sudan carrying (2,408) tons of health, medical and humanitarian aid, and the Sudanese Red Crescent Society received the ship which docked at Port Sudan Port.

Upon the arrival of the ship, Dr. Ismat Mustafa, representative of the Ministry of Health, the strength of Sudanese-Turkish relations and Turkey's support for the health sector in Sudan, praising Turkey's important and effective role in supporting the health sector, Ismat said that the Turkish grant includes some medicines and medical consumables in addition to other humanitarian aid, and he thanked the Turkish government and people for their support to the Sudanese people in light of the circumstances the country is going through.
