President of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces meets Eritrean President

Today, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki at his residence. This is on the sidelines of his participation in the China-Africa Forum.
Lt. Gen. Al-Burhan said that Eritrea is a brotherly country of Sudan, as it stands with the Sudanese and hosts a large number of refugees there due to the war, praising Eritrea's positions in support of Sudan.
The President of the Sovereign Council expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Eritrean government and people for their solidarity with Sudan at this critical stage in its history.
The meeting took place on the Sudanese side in the presence of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Economic Planning, while on the Eritrean side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs attended.
