President of the Sovereignty Council travels to Juba

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, today visited the Republic of South Sudan for an official visit.
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and the President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, will hold joint bilateral discussions. The meeting will also discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.
He was welcomed at Port Sudan International Airport by a member of the Sovereignty Council, Salah al-Din Adam Tur, and the Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Muhammad al-Ghali Ali Youssef.
The President of the Sovereignty Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge, Ambassador Hussein Awad, and the Minister of Energy and Petroleum in charge, Mohieddin Naeem Muhammad.
