President of the Sovereignty Council visits Eritrea
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General #Abdel Fattah_Burhan, visited the Eritrean capital, Asmara, this morning on an official visit.
During the visit, the President of the Council will hold talks with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, who will discuss the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to strengthen them and issues of common interest between the two countries.
He was welcomed at the Port Sudan International Airport by Professor Abdullah Yahya, member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council, and several ministers.
The President of the Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Culture and Information, Mr. Khaled Al-Aasar, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
