President of the Sovereignty Council visits the headquarters of the Sudanese Embassy in Beijing

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited the headquarters of the Sudanese Embassy in the Chinese capital, Beijing, accompanied by the Ministers of Finance, Economic Planning, Energy, Oil and Foreign Affairs, and the accompanying delegation.
He was received at the embassy headquarters by Ambassador Omar Siddiq, Sudanese Ambassador to China, as well as staff and members of the Sudanese mission accredited in Beijing.
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council praised the role of the embassy in developing and promoting bilateral relations between the two countries and its concern for the interests of Sudan, following up on the issues of the Sudanese in China and resolving their problems.
Highlighting the well-established relations between Sudan and China, which have lasted for more than 65 years. He called for increased efforts to maintain the advanced level between the two countries. He said that this building represents an embodiment of the strength of Sudanese-Chinese relations, characterized by mutual giving and respect, praising all the employees who have worked successively at the Sudanese Embassy in Beijing and who have contributed to strengthening and framing this relationship.
At the end of the visit, the President of the Sovereignty Council honored the local staff in appreciation for their contributions and efforts in promoting and developing the work at the embassy.
