President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council arrives in Asmara

Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General #Abdel Fattah_Burhan, today arrived in the Eritrean capital, Asmara, on an official visit. He was received at Asmara International Airport by President Isaias Afwerki and members of the Sudanese Mission in Eritrea, and an official reception ceremony was held for the President of the Sovereignty Council.
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council will hold discussions with President Isaias Afwerki on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and advance them so as to realize the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, as well as issues of common interest.
The President of the Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Culture and Information, Mr. Khaled Al-Aasar, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
