President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council arrives in Juba

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General #Abdel Fattah_Burhan, today arrived in the city of Juba, Republic of South Sudan, on an official visit. He was received at the Juba International Airport by President Salva Kiir Mayardit and members of the Sudanese diplomatic mission in the Republic of South Sudan, and an official reception ceremony was held for the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council.
The Council President will hold discussions with President Salva Kiir on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and advance them in a way that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The President of the Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Dr. Mohieddin Naeem, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and the Director General of the General Service of intelligence, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim.
