President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council meets with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today in New York with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak. The meeting focused on the historical and well-established relations between Sudan and Kuwait and ways to strengthen cooperation relations between the two brotherly countries.
The President of the Sovereign Council briefed the Crown Prince of Kuwait on the challenges facing Sudan in the context of the rebellion led by the Rapid Support terrorist militia against the state and its institutions and its systematic targeting of civilians.
Highlighting the response of the Sudanese government to all peace initiatives aimed at ending the war in Sudan, based on the Jeddah Agreement signed in May 2023.
The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council expressed his thanks and appreciation to the government and people of the State of Kuwait for its honorable stance alongside Sudan in the circumstances it is going through.
Highlighting the airlift that the State of Kuwait is operating to provide aid and assistance to the Sudanese people affected by war, floods and rain.
