President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council receives the Minister of State of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, received today in his office His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, Minister of State at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who conveyed to him the greetings of His Highness Prince Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and the confirmation of his country's support for the legitimate government. The Sudanese Armed Forces are facing the challenges facing Sudan.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin said in a press statement that the Qatari minister expressed his hope that peace would prevail throughout Sudan.
He stressed his country's support for any sincere initiative in this direction.
Ambassador Hussein explained that the President of the Sovereign Council expressed, during the meeting, his appreciation and that of the Sudanese people for the sincere positions of the State of Qatar and its leadership in favor of the Sudanese government and people.
Stressing the ability of the Sudanese armed forces and people to overcome the current phase with determination and strength in a manner that preserves Sudan, its people and the unity of its territory.
It is worth noting that the meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
