After a long wait and a long anticipation, and after Asir’s work, he followed the political transformations and the devastating war which ravaged the country, the decision to appoint a Prime Minister to Sudan was recently issued. This decision expected for a long time since October 2021 represents a spark of hope in the cloudy sky and places the new president with historical responsibility by leading the country towards recovery and stability.

This appointment came after a difficult period which resigned from the former Prime Minister, Hamduk, who began promises and then retracted, to stand in the ranks of war forces. The decision has also been delayed despite the advertisements of the chairman of the Repeated Sovereign Council that the appointment of a competent and independent Civil Minister should be appointed. The country cannot settle and flourish unless the executive government launched a fierce war against corruption, and endeavors to control the labor movement and to implement laws with transparency and justice, far from favoritism and regionalism that has developed the body of the state for decades.

The last challenge and urgent, as well as the return of ministries and government institutions to the capital, Khartoum. This requires the rehabilitation of buildings and the return of employees to practice their work, so that the executive work lock returns to rotation. Third, the existence of conscious popular resistance with its objectives, which are placed at the forefront of the elimination of the rebellion and the reconstruction of what has been destroyed by war, can represent a strong support for government efforts.

Fourth, the Sudanese people are ready to adopt the virtue of patience and hope for a better future, which represents an important moral balance that the government can invest in gaining the confidence of citizens.

Fifth, the popular aspiration to make fundamental changes to government agencies, in particular the public service, the judiciary and the Bank of Sudan, gives the new Prime Minister a popular mandate to make expected radical reforms.
