Qadah Al-Sultan initiative provides meals to orphaned children in Kalma IDP camp

The Sultanate of Darfur implemented a project to provide meals to orphaned children in Kalma IDP camp, South Darfur, as part of the Kadah Al-Sultan initiative, which aims for emergency humanitarian intervention and to alleviate the suffering of displaced people by providing meals through kitchens and hospices in a number of camps and areas in need.

This time, the community solidarity initiative through the Qadah Al-Sultan initiative targeted the orphan segment of the Kalma IDP camp.

The Qadah Al-Sultan Initiative provided a number of meals to the camp's hospices and kitchens, with the participation and supervision of camp elders, displaced leaders, women and youth, as part of its urgent interventions aimed at remedying the conditions of those displaced under the current circumstances.

The initiative is under the generous patronage of Sultan Ahmed Dinar, Sultan of Darfur, and under the supervision of community leaders. The initiative aims to support kitchens and hospices in cities, rural areas and IDP camps in Darfur, in addition to providing services. health interventions in case of emergency.

The Sultanate of Darfur has established a number of hospices and open kitchens in several towns and IDP camps in Darfur, as part of its solidarity project carried out under the Qadah Al-Sultan initiative.
