Rapid Support Militia Sweeps Hajar al-Asal, Threatens Shindi – Latest Treatment – ✍️ Khaled Fadl Al-Sabd
Continuous complaints have been filed by residents of Hajar al-Asal area, which belongs to the Shindi locality, in the Nile State, regarding the serious threats they are exposed to by the Rapid Support Militia due to the absence of police forces after the closure of the department and the locality.
The militia members took advantage of this situation and began to threaten the citizens of the market and neighborhoods on a daily basis. They murdered a number of citizens, and their numbers continue to increase. They began to raid homes in search of salaries and even the service of the regular forces. Workers, taking them away and beating their families. Even the means of transport that transported citizens from the area to the city of Shendi to do their shopping, sometimes with the aim of stealing mobile phones and money, everyone began to live there. terror and fear, and some left the area and moved with their families to safe areas.
The areas most affected by the attacks of this militia are the villages and settlements of Al-Masfa and Hajar Al-Asal. The militia surrounds these villages and has been attacked by those who constantly enter these areas, especially in the morning and afternoon. which often results in deaths, looting and theft of goods such as mobile phones, money, cars and anything that falls into their hands while they roam the neighborhoods. They went to the market on motorcycles and 4×4 military vehicles.
Amid rapidly evolving events, the militia has recently turned to the use of heavy weapons, such as rocket launchers, against the West Nile regions, which is seen as a direct threat to these villages and their citizens.
Unless this militia is defeated and the oil refinery is liberated, the matter will not stop at the Hajar al-Assal area alone, but it will also threaten the city of Shendi, given that it now has long-range launchers with which it strikes areas and villages west of the Nile from time to time. It should not be forgotten that the city of Shendi will also be within its range.
The solution lies in the liberation of the oil refinery, which is seen arriving and wandering without responsibility or supervision, will be paid for by Hajar al-Asal and the city of Shendi.
The Nile State government must understand the gravity of the situation and unless the situation is corrected, this militia will target and threaten Shendi town.
The significance of the refinery liberation is that it is seen as a gateway to the liberation of Bahri and its regions, and then Khartoum State as well.
According to our information, the militias have started to flee and surrender from time to time, and assassinations have broken out among them because of this escape and surrender, which others reject. Recently, in the Hattab area of Bahri, the armed forces were targeted. an entire platoon that was fleeing the refinery.
