Red Sea University signs MoU with Sudan Coast Organization

Professor Abdul Qadir Badawi Muhammad, Director of the Red Sea University, and Professor Othman Daytek, Director of the Sudan Coast Organization, signed a joint memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening sustainable development efforts, in the presence of Dr Abboud Suleiman, secretary of the Scientific Department. Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Taher Munni, Director of the Center for Peace Studies, and Dr. Awatif Haddad, Dean of the College of Applied Sciences and Director of the Sudan Coast Organization, Professor Othman Daytek.

This step strengthens collaboration between the university and community organizations.

The Director of the Red Sea University, Professor Abdul Qader Badawi, expressed satisfaction with this partnership, emphasizing that the university relies on partnerships for its great role in serving society.

He pointed out that the university comprises 18 colleges and various research centers that work to achieve the objectives of community development and scientific research, explaining that the main beneficiary of these efforts is the people of the Red Sea State. He added that this agreement opens new perspectives. horizons of cooperation in the areas of sustainable development and strengthening the integration between scientific research and community work.

For his part, Dr. Abboud Suleiman, Secretary of Scientific Affairs of the Red Sea University, explained that the agreement will significantly contribute to community service through the programs offered by the university's centers, expressing his hope that this partnership will develop to be more effective and fruitful.

In turn, the Director of the Sudan Coast Organization, Mr. Othman Daytek, presented an overview of the organization and its objectives, emphasizing that the organization works in multiple areas and views the university as a true partner in achieving sustainable development goals.

He expressed the desire of the organization to expand the areas of cooperation with the university through this agreement, noting the existence of joint programs with the College of Marine Sciences, the Women's Center and the Center for Peace Studies with the aim of obtaining greater benefit for the local community. .
