Refugee and migrant problems in the North: significant efforts and fruitful cooperation – something for the house

The State of North in Sudan experienced an important meeting between the State Humanitarian Assistance Commissioner, Dr. Abdel Rahman Ali Khairi, and a high -level delegation of the High Commissioner for Refugees, led by the Director of the Regional Office for East Africa, the African Corn and the Lakes region, Mamadou Diane. This meeting, which comes in the context of growing humanitarian challenges, highlights the great importance of cooperation and coordination between local and international organizations to face immigration and asylum problems that have become one of the urgent priorities in the region.

Discussing questions of common concern between the two parties reflects a deep awareness of the size of responsibility against them. Sudan, due to its geographic location, is a major corridor for migrants and refugees, and the state of the North plays a central role in this movement. Consequently, efforts to organize this movement and approach the conditions of the most vulnerable groups require concerted efforts.

One of the most important results of this meeting is to accept to organize a major humanitarian workshop in Dongola in early August. This workshop will not only be protocol meetings. Rather, it should be a vital platform that combines the High Commissioner for Refugees and all Humanitarian Partners, in addition to national and international organizations working in the field. The supreme objective of this workshop is to think and exchange experiences on migrants, refugees and deportees, who will undoubtedly contribute to developing more effective strategies and defining common work mechanisms to solve these complex problems.

As indicated in the press release, work in the center to wait and cross refugees from the city of Dongola continues in the right direction. This information is satisfied, because the presence of these centers is necessary to provide a temporary shelter and basic services to refugees and migrants during their trip. The continuation of the good job in this center reflects the committee’s commitment to provide a decent human environment for these people.

For his part, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ali Khairi, Dr. Abdul Rahman Ali Khairi, said immigration, refugees and inappropriate affairs are an absolute priority in the work of the humanitarian aid committee. This confirmation demonstrates the consciousness of the commission of the size of the challenge and the importance of dealing with it seriously and a human meaning. Dr. Khairi also praised the efforts of the High Commissioner for Refugees and its previous and current programs in the organization of the migrant movement through the codified and non-empty roads and to resolve the conditions of refugees and migrants to and from Sudan through the state of the North. This praise strengthens confidence in the partnership between the two parties and encourages the pursuit of joint work to achieve the desired human objectives.

In conclusion, it can be said that this meeting represents a positive step towards improving human cooperation in the state of the North. The challenges linked to refugees and migrants require a complete and integrated response, which the two parties try to achieve thanks to this strategic partnership. Hope remains linked to the expected workshop for practical and sustainable solutions that help to mitigate the suffering of affected groups and strengthen human rights in the region.
