Residents of Village 6 complain about increasing incidence of poisonous bites, appeal to Ministry of Health

Expatriates in Al-Manaseer Village 6, south of Al-Damer, complained about the increase in infection rates of venomous reptiles, which have spread significantly with the arrival of autumn. Citizens expressed deep concern over the massive appearance of scorpions, midges and some venomous reptiles, with the lack of care at the village hospital and the difficulty of reaching the hospitals of Al-Damer and Atbara, demanding the need for support and rehabilitation of the hospital to accommodate patients, especially urgent cases.

Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Hanadi, according to Al-Jabo, appealed to the federal and state Ministry of Health and humanitarian organizations on the need to provide vaccines and continued. We appreciate the efforts of health officials and humanitarian organizations, but the need to provide vaccines is necessary. especially after it was fully equipped to store and preserve vaccines and medicines that were previously kept in neighboring villages and the high risk of infection, Hanadi explained that the hospital, in three months, received only three cases of contamination. a man and two women who were treated through hypersensitivity screening, injection therapy and patrols, adding that residents avoid knowing the capabilities of the hospital, which relies on first aid, stressing their demand to provide vaccines through official correspondence with more than one party, without response. Due to the high costs and support from the hospital, she is grateful to supporting organizations, especially the Child Protection Organization.
