The Nile State government, led by the state governor, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed Abu Qarun, has strongly condemned the serious violations committed by rebel militias against innocent civilians in the eastern regions of Gezira State.
The official spokesperson of the Nile State Government and Deputy Governor, Mr. Mustafa Muhammad Othman Al-Sharif, said that these heinous violations are a result of the despair that struck the rebel militias after the successive victories of the Sudanese Armed Forces .
Al-Sharif added that Nile State has received a large number of displaced people due to violations committed by rebel militias in the east of the island, highlighting the directive of Governor Dr. Muhammad al-Badawi Abdul Majid Abu Qarun, to instruct the Ministry of Social Affairs and Humanitarian Aid and Local Affairs Commission to provide all necessary services to the displaced people, including shelter, medicine and health care.
The Nile State Government has reaffirmed its full support to the Sudanese Armed Forces and appreciation for their heroic efforts to achieve a solid victory on all battle fronts.
