Sawaed Al-Khair Development Association Implements Therapeutic Camp Project in Northern Al-Rusairs District

Since its establishment, the Sawaed Al-Khair Association for Development in Al-Rusairs Governorate has provided humanitarian aid services to the most needy groups. The association has made continuous efforts to establish meaningful partnerships that will improve its interventions.

In this context, the Sawa'id Al-Khair Association for Development implemented the free treatment camp project in the northern district (targeting the closed area) with the support of the Ministry of Health, Doctors Without Borders and the Red Crescent, within the framework of the slogan: “For a healthy and healthy society”.

The launch of the camp took place in the presence of the governor of the governorate of Rusayris, the director of general intelligence and the director of the Rusayris youth training center.

The treatment camp included an integrated clinic, laboratory and pharmacy from December 23 to 25.

Dr. Sawsan Taha, Executive Director of the Sawa'id Al-Khair Association for Development, explained that the project is one of the priority projects of the Association, particularly targeting women, men and children, d 'especially since the closed area is in a disastrous state. need services, and the intervention of the Association came with the aim of contributing to providing therapeutic services to beneficiaries. The camp targeted 150 beneficiaries, and the camp exceeded the target number of 150 beneficiaries. Total coverage reached 333 beneficiaries, men and women.

Sawsan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Al-Rusairs Governorate, represented by the Executive Director of the Governorate, for welcoming and praising the project and its good coordination, in addition to the generous support of the Ministry of Health, Doctors Without borders and the Sudanese. Red Crescent Society.

Sawsan particularly thanked the volunteers of the Sawa'id Al-Khair Development Association for their strong support for the success of the camp, as well as the host community and the active participation of a number of associations represented by the Association Impasto, Spring Life Association, and Iqaa Cultural Association for their participation in the theater performance, and the Blue Nile Wings Association for the inauguration and launch of the camp.

Sawsan pledged to work seriously for more services in the coming period, especially to prepare the chronic diseases camp (diabetes and hypertension) and the crisis, noting that the association is moving at a steady pace towards the achievement of the desired objectives.
