Second commander of 19th Infantry Division describes Mustanfari Marawi as strike force
The second commander of the 19th Infantry Division, Brigadier General Yasser Al-Siddiq Al-Bathani, said the north was difficult for passing militias.
This happened during his speech before the Mobilization and Mobilization Committee, the Martyrs Sector, located at the Zouma Club Square.
His Excellency described the Mustanfari locality of Merowe as a strike force and affirmed their readiness to defend Sudan on the front lines of the Battle of Karama.
Al-Bathani warned of sleeper cells, infiltrators and those seeking to divide national ranks, and stressed that security services were monitoring their movements and activities.
Al-Bathani highlighted the support of the 19th Division to the Alert Committee sectors with weapons and administrative vehicles
In a related context, the head of the Intelligence Division, Colonel Adel Ali Al-Hassan Nouri, highlighted the importance of the popular gathering at this pivotal stage in the country's history.
He praised the performance of the personnel mobilized at the outpost level which led to the seizures, and underlined the close supervision and monitoring that they carry out of arrivals and infiltrators.
