Sennar Cycling Marathon is a message of security and stability across states – zero complacency – ✍️ Muhammad Al-Aqib

In a strong message emphasizing the establishment of security and return to normal life in Sennar State, top security officials and ministers participated in the cycling marathon held this morning in Sinjah town, a sporting event that turned into a living proof of the restoration of the pulse of public life.

State leaders participate and support the sport

The marathon started from Mawlid Square in Sinja and traveled through the main streets of the city amid remarkable public interaction. The event saw qualitative participation from members of the Security Committee and the State Government, including the Ministers of Health and Engineering, the Director of the General Intelligence Service, the Director of the State Police, in addition to the Executive Director of the Sinja locality, the leaders of the popular resistance of the state and locality and the champions of cycling at the national level.

The most notable event of the marathon was the participation of cycling champions who traveled a long distance from Khartoum, passing through Gezira State, to Sinja, an indicator that participants considered as indisputable proof of the stability of security in all states.

Safety first: from Khartoum to Sinja in complete safety

The speakers, including the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Major General Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Tirab, the Director of State Police, Major General Abdul Latif Awad Balam, and the Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Development, Eng. Bala, the Executive Director of Sinja locality, Nasser Abdullah Nasser, and the leader of the Popular Resistance in Sinja locality, General Ma’ash Al-Jazouli Muhammad Al-Jazouli, stressed that the success of the marathon and the distance covered by the heroes from Khartoum to Sinja represent “the greatest message” and a practical proof of the establishment of security and safety in the state and neighboring states.

They stressed that the broad participation of leaders reflects the security state and contributes to the sustainability of security through the efforts of the armed forces and supporting forces.

They called for adopting sport for all and spreading the culture of cycling as an important tool for promoting public health.

Activate the union and qualify young people

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, Captain Khaled Hussein Al-Sheikh, who ran the marathon, confirmed his joy at the success of the marathon, noting that the event represents an announcement of the real launch of the council’s efforts to activate and revitalize the bicycle union in the state.

The Sheikh said our objective is clear and specific, which is to support sports and provide a suitable environment for the youth of Sennar to showcase their energies, especially with the presence of champions representing the state at the national and international levels.

The President of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports stressed that it is necessary to continue working hand in hand with security and enforcement agencies and with society to make sport a culture of life in order to ensure the sustainability of activities that promote health and the spirit of competition in a safe environment thanks to the sacrifices of the columns of martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners and the missing.

Hero’s Journey Leader Explains Challenge Course

Ahmed Al-Murad, the leader of the trip, said that these young men belong to the Sudanese Cycling Club, affiliated to the General Cycling Federation.

Al-Murad confirmed that the participating team included Moayed Salim and Muawiyah Muhammad Mahmoud, and pointed out that the latter suffered a minor injury in the town of Sinnar, which prevented him from completing the final leg of the journey in Sinja.

Regarding the physical and temporal accomplishment, Al-Murad explained the details of the marathon journey, saying that they covered the distance from Khartoum to Madani, 185 km, in approximately 10 hours, from Madani to Sennar, 109 km, in 5 and a half hours, and from Sennar to Sinja, approximately 66 km, in 3 hours.

Final Touch: The Paradoxes of Marathon Health and Structure

In a remarkable and amusing paradox among the participants, a point was scored in favor of the infrastructure sector, as stated by the Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Development, Eng. Hafez Ballah brilliantly covered the distance and highlighted the importance of marathon for health, emphasizing that a healthy mind lies in a healthy body and cycling is a free medical check-up for the body. On the other hand, the Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Awad, reached the finish line of leaders, and we hoped that he would walk this path and say what his counterpart said on infrastructure.

This fitness disparity was reinforced by the high levels of enthusiasm and fitness that emerged among security officials, led by the Director of State Police, who started out relaxed and enthusiastic, as well as the Director of the General Intelligence Service and leader of the popular resistance in the locality of Sinja, Major General Ma’ash Al-Jazouli Muhammad Al-Jazouli, which confirms the paradoxes of physical construction between the military and civilians. executives to endure the events of the event, with the exception of the president of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, the athlete.
